Business Gazelles is a ranking of the most dynamically developing small and medium-sized companies. The first edition of the Business Gazelles ranking was held in 2000. Gazela is a small or medium-sized company that, thanks to its extremely dynamic development, is able to cope well among even much larger competitors.
The company’s place on the ranking list is determined by the percentage increase in turnover achieved over the three years examined. The author of the ranking is the Coface Poland business intelligence agency, which is responsible for verifying the financial data of the submitted enterprises.
The Gazele Biznesu rankings are prepared every year by economic dailies belonging to the Swedish Bonnier Press Group. In addition to “Puls Biznesu”, such lists are prepared by its sister dailies from Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Latvia, Russia, Estonia and Slovenia. The criteria for selecting Gazelles are adapted to local economic conditions in individual countries, but the goal is the same everywhere: promoting small and medium-sized enterprises.
The ceremonial distribution of commemorative diplomas and statuettes for companies from the Lesser Poland Voivodeship will take place on February 19, 2014 at the Aviation Museum in Krakow during the Final Gala.
